Qualifications
Linemen must be able to do all things necessary to complete an aerial replacement or new build project , to include reading a print, gaffing poles, operating a bucket truck and directing a ground hand. Ground hands must be physically able to carry and climb ladders, pull lashers, trim trees, etc. Fulfill the responsibilities of a ground hand.
Other Requirements
Linemen and ground hands must be able to show up to work 5 days a week, legally allowed to work in Ohio, pass background check and have Drivers license, commercial vehicle insurance, contractors insurance.(We can help in acquiring insurance if needed)
Job Description
We are a well established (over 30 years) local cable contractor specializing in underground utility installation. We have recently created a new aerial section of the company and are looking to man our bucket trucks with experienced linemen and ground hands. We have a reputation for providing a HIGH QUALITY product in whatever discipline we are working and our pay reflects that. The bulk of our work is cable replacement, and local cable extensions that are about half bucket work and half easement work. Reliability, and trustworthiness are very important to us.
