Job Description
Installation and Repair Technicians needed. This work is in small towns in southern Alabama. Like old school POTS/DSL. No bonded/video service. No split shift. Some overtime available. Technician should have experience with POTS and Data in copper cable. Technician should possess the ability to perform installation, maintenance and trouble shooting of POTS/DSL. Technician should also possess the knowledge to rehab and rebond cables as needed in outside plant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Must be able to use shovel to locate buried cables.
•Comply with all OSHA safety standards.
•Ability to work with other technicians on assigned tasks when requested.
•Be able to effectively and professionally communicate with the customer.
•Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
