Qualifications
2+ years previous communication and aerial line experience required
• Familiar with CATV and telephone company prints/specifications
• Knowledge and ability to operate aerial bucket truck
Other Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with clean 2 years driving history
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT exam.
• Punctuality and preparedness to work a normal daily schedule as well as availability to be called in for emergency work.Connecticut Applicants:

Job Description
• Building strand, lashing cables, setting bonds, building riders, setting anchors and down guys
• Placing and lashing coax or fiber
• Placing self-support cable and inner duct
• Ability to drill poles and do pole shifts
• Laying and installing all cables in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications
• Climbing utility poles and/or using aerial lift truck to place cables on pole per system design and spec
• Performing safety evaluations and testing work for quality
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Maintaining and handling all tools, equipment and assets safely and responsibly
• Willing to train new ground hands
• Compliant with all safety requirements
• Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions
• Complete accurate and detailed logs, records and dailies
• Knowledge and awareness of safety policies for protecting yourself, team and the public at all times.
