Qualifications
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CABLE INSTALLATION, SERVICE AND REPAIR IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. MUST PASS NATIONWIDE BACKGROUND CHECK AND UA TEST.
Other Requirements
Clean late model trucks, hand tools and climbing gear required to perform the daily functions of this position.
Job Description
Position: MDU Crew
Reports To: Regional Vice President
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Meet all employment eligibility criteria (Nationwide B/G Check, UA Test, etc)
2) Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
3) Ability to performing demanding tasks and heavy physical labor as assigned for the duration of the daily shift.
4) Must own Truck or Van, all hand tools and climbing gear required to perform the daily functions of this position.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1) Repair Lock Boxes are needed per system standards and requirements with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications ( NEC Electrical Code, System and/or City Specifications).
2) Assure that door-tagging and resident notification of our activities has been completed prior to starting each workday. Resolve customer/resident complaints related to activities performed by crew working under your supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Standing 6 to 8 hours daily
*Walking 6 to 8 hours daily
*Bending & Twisting 6 to 8 hours daily
*Repetitive Motions (grasping, manipulating) 4 to 5 hours daily
* Occasionally Lifting Heavy Objects (100 lbs.), Lifting Medium Objects (50 to 90 lbs.), Lifting & Carrying Objects (50lbs for up to 100 yds)
