Job Description
CareView Communications is currently accepting resumes for a CATV MDU Installer to install and maintain the CareView System within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in all phases of CATV Commercial Building cable plant installations.
Responsibilities and Skills
• Must have knowledge of CATV Head End and CMTS equipment, and have the ability to install, service, and validate installations for proper configuration and performance.
• Strong knowledge of CATV and the ability to upgrade, repair commercial building cable plant networks (hospital experience a plus)
• Must have a C-2d Low Voltage Systems License in Nevada.
• Must have working knowledge of CATV federal, state, and local regulations and familiarity with National Electrical Code.
• Ability to use Spectrum Analyzer equipment, interpret readings and repair discrepancies.
• Knowledge of Broadband forward and return path frequencies.
• Knowledge of DOCSIS and have the ability to perform DOCSIS testing on completed installations to insure quality service.
• Ability to work with tech support in home office to diagnose and repair problems in the field
• Ability to participate in an “on-call” support rotation which will include 24/7 response time requirements.
• Ability to climb and work from a 10-foot ladder.
• Ability to work while standing and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to carry 70 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must have good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Comply with industry standards, safety rules and regulations, company policies and procedures

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Must pass HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance test
• Must maintain appropriate hospital/institutional credentials
