Lightspeed Utility is seeking highly motivated and experienced Drop-Bury crews to install and maintain fiber optic cables. This position requires various pieces of heavy equipment including trenching and boring machines/tools depending on the size and scope of the project. You must have your own experienced crew. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Bury service lines minimum 6" to 24" depth with hand trenching when required and with drop plows and boring capabilities
Read and understand the existing underground facility locates
Identify and locate unmarked utilities
Restore the job site to its original condition
Responsible for damages
Review all requested and existing services with the customer before the installation of new lines
Stick bore knowledge and understanding
Requirements:
Equipment necessary for Drop work
Insurance
Pure commitment to the safety of yourself and others
Pass MVR, background, and drug screen
Must be able to obtain a DOT card
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to listen to and implement directions
Possible ability to travel and work within the US if needed as the business demands
