Job Description
Responsibilities
• Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
• Flagging traffic when required
• Planning and Initiating Work Packages
• Install and repair aerial communication cable
• Repair cut or damaged communication cables
• Placement of communication poles and anchors
• Use of manual tools such as shovels, posthole diggers and other hand held tools
• Use of mechanized equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Special projects as assigned
Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
• Must have 2+ years’ experience in the industry
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools
• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
