This is an outdoors position!
Walking out coax outside plant and notating in bluebeam (digital annotating software)
Span Footage
Cable size
Equipment manufacture, type
Tap ports, values
Note pole type. ig. telephone, power, transformer
Ensuring what is listed on the print is what is in the field
Weekly reporting
And other duties as assigned
This is an outdoors position. Must be willing to work in the elements
Must be able to walk long distances.
Must be able to use computers, phones, & tablets
Must be able to see different colors and use binoculars
Must have vehicle to use. Mileage reimbursed at the federal rate
Must be willing to travel when projects call for it
Lodging and Per Diem provided
Training Can be provided for people with position related experience, training, or general knowledge of coax or fiber plant
Recommended for cable installers, service techs, osp construction hands looking to get into engineering
