Job Description
Genesis Node and Active swap. Teams are splicing nodes and swapping all actives in each node.
As a project manager on an OSP (Outside Plant) actives upgrade project, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the Team: As a project manager, your primary responsibility is to lead your teams towards the successful completion of the project. This involves setting expectations, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring that everyone is working effectively towards the common goal.
Assigning Tasks: You will be responsible for assigning tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise. You should ensure that tasks are distributed fairly and that everyone is contributing to the project in a meaningful way.
Monitoring Progress: You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the project to ensure that it is on track to meet its objectives. This involves checking in with team members regularly and reviewing their work to ensure that it is of high quality and meets the project requirements.
Providing Support: You should be available to provide support and guidance to team members when needed. This involves being approachable and accessible to team members and actively seeking out opportunities to help them overcome any challenges they may be facing.
Resolving Issues: As the team supervisor, you will be responsible for resolving any issues that arise during the project. This involves working collaboratively with team members to identify the cause of the issue and finding a solution that meets the needs of the project.
Communicating with management: You will be responsible for communicating project updates to the project manager and other departments involved in the project. You should ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any issues that arise during the project.
Ensuring Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all team members comply with the company's policies and procedures, as well as any relevant regulations or legislation. This includes ensuring that all work is performed safely and that all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Documenting Project Progress: You should ensure that accurate records are kept of project progress, including any issues that arise and the steps taken to resolve them. This will help to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget, and will also provide a useful reference for future projects
