Qualifications
Applicant must be an established and fully insured independent contractor equipped with bucket truck, field meter capable of Docsis measurements and forward measurements to include MER and BER up to 1 GHz, separate signal generator for carrier injection, optical power meter, and Volt/Ohm/Amp meter capable of True RMS voltage readings.
Other Requirements
Applicant must be familiar with powering and power blocks, CATV map reading, RF calculations, and creating hand drawn as built maps. Experience with installation of new power supplies on poles, in peds, and in telco rooms a plus. Experience working manholes, high rise MDU’s, and working in urban environments also a plus.
Job Description
Survey nodes, power supplies, and proposed fiber deep node locations to vet initial design planning.
