Qualifications
3+ years of Occupational Health and Safety experience preferred; 2+ years of fiber-optic construction experience required; Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, MS Outlook, and computer operating systems; Very strong organization, communication, and leadership skills; Problem-solving skills necessary to assess problems and identify required action; Perform duties independently by exercising discretion and sound judgement; Knowledge of standard industry practices
Job Description
? Ensure all crews and facilities are adhering to all applicable regulations developed and are relevant to the fiber optic construction environment
? Ensure crew members are wearing proper PPE and are aware of all potential hazards at work site
? Maintain records of safety procedures, safety meetings, and other related documentation
? Troubleshooting problems as they arise
? Communicate effectively with company representatives, crews, and landowners
