Job Description
For over seventeen years, Broadband Technical Resources (BTR) has built the reputation as one of the best cable construction companies in the industry. We're looking for a Node Split Coordinator to track milestones throughout the course of a project by managing lifecycle of the projects, and clearly disseminate information to the crews as well as reporting to the clients on technical progress or issues.
Duties for the position:
- Provides administrative support for project completion; assists with project plan in consultation with appropriate participants and coordinates steps to ensure participation of appropriate interested individuals and groups.
- Assists with project status to ensure progress toward completion and required procedural steps are completed fully and in a timely manner.
- Seeks cooperation and input in project assignments; coordinates needed meetings or hearings to gather input and meet procedural requirements.
- Provides status reports to senior management or other management to keep them apprised of progress and any anticipated issues.
- Oversight of outside plant crews, inhouse and contractor alike
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
- Highly effective written & verbal communication across all levels of an organization
- Intermediate knowledge of OSP & ISP construction
- Intermediate knowledge of fiber & coax construction practices & procedures
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of design maps & specifications
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Node segmentation and Digital nodes
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be willing to work weekends or nights as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to manage tasks within budget and schedule
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication upward, downward, and laterally
- Build relationships with internal and external partners
- Intermediate knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) construction practices and procedures
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite
