It's not my interpretation, it's a fact. And you're either thinking about 1080p or you don't know what the heck you're talking about. It is theoretically impossible for a 1920x1080 image to be displayed legitimately on a 1080i monitor, as interlacing technology does not write 1080 horizontal lines per refresh, period.
I call it true 720i, but that's just me.
You're also wrong about Skype requiring a PC.
All of which has nothing to do with this topic. Please stop threadjacking. If you care too much about people transitioning from CATV services, you are a person who settles for crap and wants other to, as well.
