Re: low cost ols and meter


I have no experience with those but for the price I would say they are worth a shot. You can certainly spend a lot more, but those may work just fine. Just a side note, a light meter is nice to have for checking levels and such, but an OTDR is much more useful for verifying everything and finding faults. The light meter can tell you it's broke/bent whatever, but an OTDR will tell you where the fault is.
