Well I have had moderate success with these units. Once they are configured in Standalone mode they work great to pass the programs on. The programs end up labeled as the "channel number" you tune to plus .xx (the pid of the channel) I have found there is a way to remap as well.
My issue right now is understanding why the ASI inputs link up sometimes, and sometimes they don't, I am working with a 9828 transcoder but can't figure out what settings to make to sync the ASI. SA says the D9477 accepts Mpeg 2. Is there a data rate? What is the null packet for. I am having a hell of a time finding anything related to ASI.
Anyone??
