Well, it's fairly easy to figure out, and advantageous to know where you are at. Try to avoid the cutting of your own throat. You are right it is far too traditional in this industry (not so much traditional telco customers) to let the customer dictate rates. the effect is that prices are surpressed. Other construction industries always Estimate, bid, and negotiate rates.
