my understanding of FTS is they are a staffing agency...
which happens to be do installer placement for Google fiber.
along with some others like ITC.
i spoke to a recruiter once for the company.
i have been in the industry since 1984, i do construction, splicing and installations of Copper,coaxial, and fiber optic.
been doing fiber to the home the last seven years in Canada... have a solid knowledge of the equipment and services both commercial and residential with a good solid reume...
and was offered 18.00 per hour due to my extensive back ground i was told this was top pay i would recieve coming in...
So since i turned down the offer... and never made it to interview process... thats all the knowledge i have about pay offered ... hope this gives you some idea of what you may need to be negotiating or refusing.
