Never really gave a reason. I got out & went back to contracting when I heard Comcast was taking over so I wasn't in the middle of all of it. I knew it wasn't going to be a good thing.
It seems like it had everything to do with seniority & pay scale. The techs they did keep were made to train a bunch of rookies & a couple years down the road found ways to get rid of them one at a time.
