Re: Multiy mode or Single mode fiber?

I would try and talk them into running a 48ct from main to both other buldings. Put a 96 ct patch panel in main and two 48 ct panels into other two buildings. that gives them enough to do what they want in the future. If they want to go from build A to building B simply jumper connector 1 to 49 and they have straight pass thru in main. If you use Corning cable UniCam connectors you can run cables straight to panels no splicing required. I normally charge 20 to 30 per connector tested depending on setup and how many connectors. If you put a splice in the middle what are you doing inside? still need to connectorise, if you use a premade preterm then you would also need to splice it so that's 3 splices between buildings that you don't really need. Splicing I would normally charge between 25 to 35 depending.
