Ok no supper pro Dish guy here, but let remember a few things here. Up untill SWM with Directv you had to run 2 lines to every DVR. Lost a many installs because of that. Dish had Direct on tech for several years with the dual tuner 2 room DVR.
Let's not forget that Direct has had it's contract disputes. Fox recently, they lost VS during the NHL playoffs. Dish was the better company to work for and more pay for years.
In the last two years DIsh has gone down the shitter. And there is no doubt the Hopper is a POS.
