My wife works for workers comp in utah. She works more than forty hour week. Goes out of town to work sometimes on the weekend to get there by plane. In meetings all day then fly home that night. You should enjoy what you are doing you know your check is always there. When you need to be off just ask and still get paid. That part of the perks.
