Well it seems there is a firm called Telecom Technologies that is offering training for Fiber Splicing. It caught my interest basically because of my being unemployed at the moment. My questions are, has anyone heard of these fellows? Would a company consider hiring a Certified Splicer that went to school or would one prefer they had more " Hands On" type of experience. Now I do have 16 years in this cable crap and I just need to know if it would be worth my time and monies to bother with this or not. I have installed the Verizon Fios Microduct in MDU's but even that has basically stopped here in the Richmond,Va area. I am just trying to make myself more marketable to the job market. Thanks for the responses...Bill.
