Utilities One Inc is looking for a qualified Industrial Power Subcontractor Crew in North/Central Florida.
If you are the principal of a contract company interested to work on Overhead, Transformers, Switching, and Underground Transmission and Distribution Systems in this region, we may have an opportunity for you.
Project Description:
Installation of underground and overhead transmission and distribution systems.
Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain or repair the power lines that move electricity
• Identify defective devices, voltage regulators, transformers, and switches
• Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment
• String power lines between poles, towers, and buildings
• Climb poles and transmission towers and use truck-mounted buckets to get to equipment
• Operate power equipment when installing and repairing poles, towers, and lines
• Drive work vehicles to job sites
• Follow safety standards and procedures
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of Industrial Power Construction experience;
• Knowledge of materials, methods, equipment, and tools involved in the Industrial Power Construction;
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
