Qualifications
Ability to read and build from wiring diagrams and blue prints. Not color blind. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must satisfy pre-employment background and drug screen. Must have or can obtain a valid driver's license prior to starting employment. Certified or experienced pole climber, OSP, cable, splicing, balancing, and CATV system documentation are all plusses but not required.
Job Description
The Coax Splicer's primary responsibilities include the ability to splice, test, repair cables & wires in both indoor and outdoor settings, read, create and maintain splicing diagrams, maintain activities surrounding the assigned worksite(s), and taking splicing field notes, optimize, set up power supplies and test the voltage.
