Buried Service Administrative Specialist
Butler America Telecom is a telecommunications construction company that provides both wireless and wireline work nationwide. Butler seeks a self-starter Buried Service Administrative Specialist with experience in the telecommunications industry.

Position Summary:
The Buried Services Administrative Specialist will be responsible for managing the drop/bury field crew which includes receiving and dispatching jobs, trouble shooting, entering/tracking jobs, monitoring audits, and identifying jobs for cost approvals. The ideal candidate for this role requires minimum supervision and is highly motivated. Qualified candidates must be able to work efficiently, adapt quickly, and multi-task. The position works remotely full-time and must be able to work eastern standard time hours.

Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel (SmartSheets is preferred)
- Superb Communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
- Must be able to multitask and follow through on completion deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the workload and jobs dispatched to drop/bury field crews. Track assigned jobs and document job progress. Assist field crews with locating job site if necessary.
- Must be available during east coast work hours when crews are dispatched in order to trouble shoot and answer questions from customer(s).
- Communicate clearly and regularly with customer(s) to resolve complaints and identify solutions. Properly record and document incidents involving damages or other concerns.
- Report regularly to customer on job request and resolutions.
- Hold daily calls with field crews and subcontractors to direct day’s work focusing on keeping job turn around at a minimum. Manage priority jobs through dispatching software.
- Monitor all open jobs in assigned area, keeping time to complete a job to a minimum and communicating regularly with customer regarding priority jobs.
- Identify jobs that need cost approvals and make requests.
- Review weekly all open jobs in customer system and reconcile in Butler software systems to identify any discrepancies. Update information in both systems to maintain consistency.
- Ensure high quality of field work by monitoring daily quality and audit reports, reviewing on a weekly basis, and providing responses to customer inquiries.
- Process payroll and invoicing.
