Proficient in new build, coax & fiber installation and pole transfers. Knowledge in building strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding. Valid, unrestricted drivers license, must be 18 years old.

Must provide all hand tools & climbing equipment
Job Description
Required Knowledge for a CATV Lineman:
• Experience with CATV / Broadband construction specifications
• Familiar with R.U.S and N.E.S.C
• Experience working with P1, P3, QR, MC2, jacketed and unjacketed
• Must have experience placing strand, coax and fiber
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of a bucket truck
• Ability to climb poles with hooks and belts
• Must be able to read & understand CATV/Broadband prints
Duties:
• Completion of remedial and high-level labor-intensive tasks as well as operation of assigned construction equipment
• Completion of daily production reports to document work performed
• Use of hand tools, ladders, and equipment to assist in the completion of an assigned project
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
