Job Description
Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks
Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement
Ensuring that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met
Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles
Setting goals for workers and making sure they comply with the company's plans and vision
Recommend new employees to the human resources team based on an assessment of their performance
Reporting performance records and evaluations to HR and senior management
Supervisor Skills and Qualifications:
Advanced leadership and team management skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Expertise in a specific industry
Knowledge of company policies
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality
Computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools
Industry-Specific Tasks:
Install customers with Internet Service
Perform work in Attic and Crawl Spaces
Terminate CAT6 Cables
Fish Cables through Walls and Attics
Work from heights on an extension ladder
Maintain company issued assets including tools, equipment, and vehicles
Bend EMT conduit for Low Voltage Cabling
Drive company vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity problems
Maintain accurate and current inventory tracking
Use Drills, Shovels, and other handheld tools.
Desired Skills & Requirements for Position:
Field experience preferred
High School Diploma required
Current Valid Driver’s license required
Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others
Wireless/Electrician experience highly valued
Comfortable and professional working in customer homes
Safety-conscious
Enjoys working in all weather conditions
Must enjoy working with hands and learning new technology
Must be comfortable working on roofs and in tight spaces
Must be comfortable using power tools
Pass a background check, MVR check & Drug Screen
Ability to use power tools or machinery
