Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience as a Chief Technician with familiarity with all CATV technical jobs. • Requires demonstrated aptitude with mechanical and electrical disciplines. • Valid drivers’ license required; satisfactory driving record without major violations. • Must possess good written and oral communication skills. • Computer networking course work preferred.

Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide technical leadership and supervision to authorized field contractor companies to ensure high quality customer service and workmanship to residential customers.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinates communication or action needed regarding installation, special requests, escalated issues, special projects, damage, claims, etc.
• Performs or assists with difficult field jobs and handles customer service complaints related to installation, repair, or disconnection of all contracted Mediacom services.
• Resolves technical problems with customers and contractor technicians through effective verbal and written communication. Ensures complete resolution of customer complaints, including follow-up calls.
• Required to effectively interface with the Contractor management representative of Mediacom approved and authorized field contractor companies.
• Coordinates with contractor companies, Mediacom warehouse and field service center to facilitate daily capacity shifting.
• Work with management to ensure proper levels of contractors to meet quota demands.
• Responsible for supervision of Mediacom QA policy of installation vendor jobs.
Oversees contractor badging process, and conducts installation vendor compliance inspections.
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
