Immediately, have work orders in every market waiting to be assigned, work must be completed within 24 hours of assignment
Pay
Terms are every 2 weeks, 1 week delayed, only completed work orders will be paid, any jobs needing return visits for resolution will not be paid until they are completed. Trip charges are $0.75/ mile, with $37.50/hr on site and 1hr minimum
Qualifications
Headend and/or commercial satellite experience is preferred, however on the job training and support will be made available to the right candidates with the requisite rf or satellite experience
Other Requirements
Required: Compression crimper, rg6 prep tool, diagonal cutters, flat and Philips head screwdrivers (regular and small component sizes), 7/16 and 1/2 wrenches preferred: laptop, satellite meter,
rf meter, handheld driver, 6ft ladder, hand truck, hand tools for working on conduit and cabling in masonary and wood frame environments
Job Description
Tech's will travel to each property to diagnose and repair problems with FTG systems. Our vendors provide DRE, OTT, and standalone pro:idiom systems. Support staff will be available 24/7 to provide over the phone step by step support and instruction. Job tasks may include the following: dish alignment, fitting and/or cabling repair or replacement, troubleshooting of headend electronics, Antenna pointing and/or troubleshooting, RF distribution troubleshooting and repair, tv programming (via laptop, or USB drives), stb troubleshooting (in headend and/or guest rooms). All electronics will be provided upon defective diagnostics, with prepaid return shipping labels. Technical reports and arrival and departure times are required to be submitted before departing from each call.
