Job Description
Strategic Management & Wiring is looking for experienced Project Management people in and around the Mississippi area. This position requires 7-10 years CATV & Fiber Construction Experiences and management skills.
Project Manager Duties:
• Manage as built information/maps, BOMs & changes.
• Report progress - daily, bi-weekly, or weekly -- Communicate effectively to all parties concerned.
• Work with staff and Contractor to set time lines and goals and manage to those goals.
• Manage & track materials issued to contractor and verify use
• Make adjustments to keep project on time.
• Ensure quality control procedures are in place and work is done to specifications.
• Approve invoices from contractor; verify work is complete and acceptable.
• Creates and maintains a “Project File” in agreed upon format.
. Copies of all material requisition sheets issued to contractors signed by both PM and person receiving materials with original copy given to Inventory Associate and a copy placed in Project file. .
. Copies of all contractor invoices received with original copy given to Inventory Associate and a copy placed in Project file.
• Makes adjustments to contractor staffing and material delivery schedules to keep project on schedule.
• Required to review and update the Project Tracking Tool daily to record work and materials issued to track project completion progress and to also track invoicing to keep project within budget.
• Responsible for managing construction contractors.
