Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform Standby Power Supply maintenance across Central and eastern US – Unit Rate
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install or replace modem and confirm connectivity to the NOC
• Install or replace transponder and confirm accurate alarm reporting
• Inspect cabinet integrity and security
• Inspect grounding
• Log all operating conditions
• Inspect and replace batteries if necessary
• Aerial and underground power supplies
• Travel required
• Reports to Field OPS Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with CATV power supplies, inverters, and batteries.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Inventory Software; Microsoft Office; phone-based apps, web and IP based hardware troubleshooting/programming
• Bucket truck required; 30-45’ maximum needed
• 1099 employee, Unit/rate pricing to be negotiated at interview
• Proof of Insurance
• Hand tools related to this industry/type of work
