Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the outside plant (OSP) that supports telecommunications services (Telephone, CATV, and High- Speed Internet. • Experienced in the operation and daily maintenance of underground construction equipment including trenchers, backhoes, plows, boring tools, stitch boring and directional boring machines•
Other Requirements
Must be able to assist in the planning of construction schedules • Familiar with industry standard aerial and underground plant design for fiber to the home FTTH Valid driver’s license, CDL is a plus. • Must be able to pass background and drug test
Job Description
• Manages people and resources to successfully complete project goals and objectiv• Provides second-level (backup) support for construction issues • Ensures that the project assets such as vehicles, test equipment, tools, etc. are in good working condition and are well maintained• Assist in planning of the construction schedules and complete the projects in a pre-determined time frame
