Qualifications
Fiber splicers should be familiar with the following: Single mode fiber splicing, loose tube, and ribbon fiber, Node splits, FTTH, Muxes, outside plant maintenance, and new build splicing.
Other Requirements
Contractors should have all the necessary tools and equipment to splice in an outside plant setting. Aerial and Underground enclosures.
