Tech Working 6days/wk 10 hrs/day[60HRS TOTAL]makes 40hrsX$30RG =$1200+$840(20hrsX$42OT) = $2040 Tech Working 6days/wk 12 hrs/day[72 HRS TOTAL]makes 40hrsX$30RG = $1200+$1344(32hrsX$42OT)=$2544 ** SPLICERS = $40RG AND $50 OVERTIIME!!!
Qualifications
MUST HAVE ALL NECESSARY I&R INSTALLATION TOOLS / SAFETY EQUIPMENT / TRUCK / 28FT LADDER WITH STRAND HOOKS / JDSU HST 3000 METER / PREFERABLY MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
Other Requirements

Job Description
POTS/DSL/VDSL Installation and Repair Technician --
Description:
Customer Service Technician must demonstrate the skills, possess the tools and test equipment necessary to perform all phases of installation and repair of copper and fiber based subscriber premises, small business equipment including Full Install DSL/VDSL, multi line phones, and basic cable trouble.
Test equipment required:
Approved or equivalent Copper Based Test set with the ability to test xDSL,
Bonded xDSL, including wideband frequencies up to 30 MHz
2) In addition, a test set used to identify coax or cat 5 jack appearances (wire mapping), test quality of in-home wiring, test noise and verify HPNA is required. 5-10 years of experience.

CABLE MAINTENANCE FIBER SPLICING TECHNICIAN --
Description:
Cable Splicing and Maintenance - The Fiber Cable Splicer must possess the necessary skills,tools and test equipment to perform functions including splicing, testing of all types of existing and newly constructed fiber optic cables. Includes but not limited to: Placing and testing pressurized and non-pressurized fiber cable closures. Rearranging all outside plant facilities
(i.e.: cable throws). Fusion Splicing of both stranded and or ribbon fiber optic cables. Test and acceptance of fiber optic strands. Retro-fit Fiber Optic Panels/Connectors (fuse on fiber connectors). Mechanical Fiber Splicing (Area Specific - Restoration ONLY). Fiber Optic Port and End face Cleaning and Inspection. Perform functions including splicing, testing (including pair
continuity), count verification, of all types, sizes and gauges of existing and or newly constructed Plastic Insulated Conductors (PIC) and Paper/Pulp Insulated, color-coded and non-color coded cables, which includes but not limited to: Ability to fully work with all underground (Manhole)
types of cable facilities. Rearranging all outside plant facilities (i.e.: cable throws). Read, comprehend, and correct information on cable prints and throw sheets. Preparation of all job related work reports (time sheets, corrected cable plans and throw sheets, material sheets.)
