ITC Service Group (“ITC”), is seeking an experienced Tower Technician III in West Caldwell, NJ. The Tower Technician will conduct work in buildings, on rooftops, and on cell towers, and be responsible for installations and/or troubleshooting of wireless antenna systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced with most cable types (coax and fiber), connectors, antennas, weatherproofing, and grounding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Running, supporting, and terminating coax and fiber
Installation of connectors, antennas, and other radio components
Qualifications:

Required Experience:
Must have basic knowledge of power and hand tools
Must have basic construction knowledge
Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred Experience??:
2 - 4 years experience in wireless
Maintenance experience with T-Mobile or AT&T
Must be able to adhere to industry OSHA safety standards while ensuring the quality of work
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is a plus
Civil experience a plus
Valid climbing certification
Physical Requirements?:
Ability to meet physical demands of listed duties
Ability to lift 100 pounds
Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, kneel, sit for extended periods of time
Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions
Ability to reach, climb, and/or grasp ladders or other tall structures
Applicant/Employee weight may not exceed 300-pounds to meet manufacturer specified weight limits of the safety equipment
Applicant/Employee waist circumference must not exceed 60 inches measured at the navel to meet manufacturer safety equipment specification
Ability to successfully complete and maintain any job required safety training
Ability and comfortability to climb and work at heights up to 350 feet with 50 lbs. of climbing gear
Education and/or Certifications:
High School or equivalent
