Qualifications
2 years of relevant experience required to include experience with CATV, DIRECTV (including residential single family and MFH2/D2 systems), DISH Network (QAM), DOCSIS, Ethernet and Fiber systems. High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. DIRECTV SBCA certification preferred
Other Requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be technical and detail oriented and customer focused. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet goals.
Job Description
· Completes installations and service upgrade orders on satellite, internet, and voice systems.
· Troubleshoots and completes repair orders on internet, satellite, and voice systems.
· Handles all customer questions/concerns and helps develop solutions to issues.
· Ensures all repair work is done according to quality standards.
· Follows all company policies and procedures, and adheres to codes, regulations, and standards.
· Meets deadlines, keeps schedules, and performs to target levels in a high production environment.
· Enters time worked correctly on his/her timesheet.
· Keeps track of receiver inventory, documenting each receiver, and makes sure the receiver is placed on the correct account.
· Calls/texts customers for appointments the morning of the scheduled work order and again 30-60 minutes within arrival time, noting on the
work orders the actions taken (e.g. left VM, appointment dates and times, etc.).
· Closes work orders by the end of each business day.
· Provides excellent customer service to insure no more than 1 customer complaint each quarter.
· Performs other duties as required and assigned by management.
· Available to work weekend and evening hours.
· Possibility to be on-call 24/7 during a standard on-call rotation.
· When on-call must respond within 60 minutes of being called.
· Available to perform some travel within the state (when needed).
· Must be comfortable with heights and exposure to outside weather conditions, and able to lift 50lbs.
