Job Description and Responsibilities :
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the oversight of the performance of electrical related services provided by the Company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate, schedule, and mobilize staff and equipment to provide required electrical services per customer specification
Oversee the installation of electrical equipment, including but not limited to; cabinets, meters, sub-metering, conduits, wiring, batteries, and power plants
Track job progress of the crews and communicate resource and material requirements
Prepare electrical project estimates
Provide training on proper safety procedures and practices
Conduct site walks and preconstruction meetings with customers, lessors, power company representatives, and electrical inspectors as required
Review the quality of the work performed by approved subcontractors
Oversee the procurement of job materials required for electrical projects
Manage required electrical permits to perform services
Collect, review, and forward the applicable closeout documentation for each job
Maintain the applicable state electrical licenses required to perform work on behalf of the Company
Requirements :
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
Three to five years of electrical experience required
Ability to run all aspects of an electrical project with minimal to no supervision
Technical Skills:
Maintain knowledge of electrical codes and licensing
Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid, AED, OSHA 10, and RF Radiation Safety & Awareness
Microsoft Office proficiency
Knowledge of basic hand tools and experience with power tools
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 75 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and boxes
Must be willing to travel up to four weeks at a time
Position requires working outdoors in all types of weather
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
