Alaska. Work is primarily in the Anchorage and MatSu area.
Starts
Start date determined by customer and conditions, typically mid-May. We will bring crews on early for orientation and gearing up
Pay
Piecework rates. Paid biweekly.
Qualifications
One year verifiable experience placing CATV Drops (plow, trench, hand dig), utility locating, signal documentation and reading system prints.
Other Requirements
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Job Description
Bury CATV CIC service lines 12" minimum
Read and comprehend system prints.
Understand existing underground facility locates.
Identify and locate unmarked utilities.
Ditch Witch or Vermeer drop equipment, hand digging when required.
Boring (stick or directional) under sidewalks/driveways when required.
Install/replace peds &/or doghouses as instructed.
Site restoration.
Daily production/documentation and weekly timesheets must be submitted on time.
Will be working outside in all conditions, bring good rain gear.
Work 5-6 days per week.
This is a full time, seasonal position. We typically start up mid-May and wrap up around Halloween. This depends greatly on the weather conditions - if the ground hasn't frozen, we will work as long as the customer allows.
We will send application to complete and your return along with resume, if available.
