Buried Service Supervisor

We are currently seeking to welcome a new team member to fill a Buried/Boring Supervisor position to provide supervision to multiple in house and sub-contractor buried service crews. This position requires heavy travel.

• 8-10 Years OSP Construction experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in Supervising OSP Buried Service crews.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction procedures and specifications.
• Knowledge of the complete usage of underground locating equipment. (UG Locator, TDR, Line Toner)
• Knowledge of mdu and B/A construction procedures and specifications.
• Knowledge of grounding and bonding specifications as necessary.
• Knowledge of contractor specifications and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of complete safety precautions.
• Knowledge of light computer skills.
• Ability to read maps. (Road and Systems)
• Ability to operate and maintain variety of vehicles related to boring, trenching, etc.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Utilize and provide to management meaningful and timely reports using key performance indicators to aid in managing the health of the project
• Remove obstacles and empower Operations to be successful
• Constantly manage and monitor in house crews and subcontractors to project progress to the customer.
• Coordinate project activities. Include but not limited to critical path monitoring/alignment, procurement, resource loading/forecasting/conflict resolution and critical path risk identification/mitigation
• Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems
• Client interface for project status and issue resolution
• Responsible for tracking change impact and delay impact
• Forecast and management of materials to facilitate the scheduled work on time and under budget
• Appropriate valid driver’s license and driving record within Company standards
• Travel 80% of the time.
