Qualifications
MUST HAVE ALL NECESSARY I&R INSTALLATION TOOLS / SAFETY EQUIPMENT / TRUCK / 28FT LADDER WITH STRAND HOOKS / JDSU HST 3000 METER / PREFERABLY MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
Other Requirements
2 WEEK HOLD , PAID ON 3RD and then PAID WEEKLY THEREAFTER!!! LONG TERM ONGOING WORK WITH LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES !!!
Job Description
POTS/DSL/VDSL Installation and Repair Technician :
Must demonstrate the skills, possess the tools and rest equipment necessary to perform all phases of installation and repair of copper and fiber based subscriber premises, small business equipment including Full Install DSL/VDSL, multi line phones and basic cable trouble.
Must be able to test Equipment
Required:
**1)Approved or equivalent copper based test set with the ability to test xDSL, Bonded xDSL, including wideband frequencies up to 30 MHZ.
**2)In addition, a test set used to identify coax or cat 5 jack appearances (wire mapping), test quality of in-home wiring, test noise and verify HPNA is required.
Additional Notes:
-Must understand the dispatch system and have recent experience installing, trouble shooting inside customer homes, and out in the field
-Prefer a bucket truck; truck with a ladder
-HST3000 or 580ONX
-Provide on own hand tools
-POTS and HSI experience required
-Must have own Android smartphone and computer; have to be versed in max
Must have or be able to download all applicable applications on Android phone - BUZZ, TECHSERV, asset scan, secure hub, MAX, etc.
5-10 years of experience
MANDATORY 6 MONTH COMMITMENT AT MINIMUM TO BE CONSIDERED - NO EXCEPTIONS!!
