Job Description

The Regional Director is responsible for the Sales, Customer Experience, Operational execution, Financial performance and Employee satisfaction at a group of profit centers in a designated market area, including; establishing goals and motivating Managers to achieve financial objectives, monitoring and ensuring that profit centers are staffed and techs trained to deliver a great customer experience, maintaining tight operational and financial controls while driving a high-level of employee engagement and satisfaction. Work location is flexible in market area locations in Texas that this position oversees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the following tasks, other duties may be assigned

? Responsible for leading the in-house work force for a major cable provider. Develop and execute a manpower budget that drives operational efficiency while achieving the highest customer service standards
? Show a proven track record of growth and profitability in previous positions, as well as meet or exceed goals set with management
? Tracks and reports on key trends in workforce management such as missed/late appointments, technician support response time, work order statuses, job routing, technician productivity, dispatcher productivity, and tool utilization success rate
? Specifically, need to drive efficiency of the in-house teams while providing excellent customer service
? Effectively lead all levels of a technical team, including front line technicians and leadership staff
? Establish and develop technical team through on-going training, coaching and development plans
? Ensures competence and continuity of qualified management and frontline staff through optimum selection, training and development, appraisal, and motivation
? Regular on-site visit to each of your project locations
? Provide leadership and direction to the key operating leaders and collaborate with all functional departments to ensure effective operation as well as attainment of profitability and growth objectives
? Analyze technical operations, general business and administrative performance to obtain customer satisfaction, system effectiveness and profitability
? Compiles explanations and action plans for monthly metric review
? Provide detailed manpower analyses and develop plans to offset variances
? Review and analyze technical operations budget performance to determine the trends in and the effectiveness of various activities within the systems/region
? Assess and implement best practices defined across region and industry
? Ensure all of your locations have proper fleet tools in order to complete jobs up to expectation
? Making sure our customers are giving us proper quota and equipment to perform our job
? Must present an outstanding degree of client relationships which will include but is not limited to the Field Operations Manager for in your respected area, warehouse/logistics, and managing multi-site operations, with the ability to quickly respond to a client and operations needs on both a local and national level
? You will also ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and maintain effective internal control
? Act as a liaison to Corporate and coordinate communication and resolutions to problems and concerns
? Follows and administers cash handling policies and procedures
? Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
? Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
? Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
? Frequent travel is required

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate managers who supervise a total of 100+employees in the designated market area. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing


Qualifications

? 10 years progressively responsible experience in large Cable TV Telecommunications, Field Operations or Engineering Management (Field Operations and Cable TV experienced preferred).
? Experience with leading multiple locations/operations in large cable systems (over 100k subs) in urban and suburban areas desirable
? Experience with advanced cable services, e.g. digital cable/internet services essential, VOD, CDV, Digital Simulcast, Enhanced Basic, etc.
? Strong project management experience involving complex multi-disciplined tasks (min 3-5 years of project management experience)
? Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
? Strong analytical ability to gather and interpret information, and develop/recommend/implement solutions
? Solid background in cost control, process management, inventory control, quality assurance and safety
? Ability to work well in a process-oriented team environment
? Solid PC skills including Microsoft Suite i.e., Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Project Management software
? Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced business environment
? Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
? Ability to safely operate a company vehicle to travel throughout the operational footprint

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
