You must have telephone experience for this job, you will be placing both copper and fiber, along with strand and pole transfers,

Contractors should be fully equipped with all tools and equipment, TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED LOCALLY, OR TO GET YOUR TRUCKS AND VEHICLES HERE. This job has a healthy payment rate with both production and daily/hourly rates combined. Your workman’s comp is not valid in Puerto Rico, you must purchase it here from the local government, it is not very high, this should not be a problem for you. This project is predicted to be a 2 to 3 year build.

This job is an aerial construction build for Claro, The Puerto Rican telephone company, it is an island wide project, currently starting in the San Juan Region. You have daily rates for vehicles, hourly rates for crew members and certain equipment, in addition to ala carte production rates. You get paid for everything you do, there are removal and wreckout prices for you in addition to the placing prices. You will be doing pole transfers, pole attachments, placing new strand, with new copper (up to 1800 pair) and placing fiber. This is a complete rebuild, they are attempting to salvage some aerial plant that may require re sags, pole attachments to new poles in addition to placing new copper and fiber. You should be prepared for all aerial construction issues, including moving risers and riser guards. At this time with the rates they are paying there is currently no per diem.
