2 Min. Years’ experience as Fiber Optics Splicer a MUST with basic construction skills to take down & place fiber cases.
Must be able to trouble shoot any fiber problem from the Hub to the end user. OTDR testing experienced a Must
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Other Requirements
Troubleshoot and repair problems utilizing optical test equipment such as OTDR, Fiber Identifier and Fiber Scope

Fiber Splicer is responsible for the maintenance and installation of new and existing fiber in an inside and outside plant environment
Working at Heights greater than 20Ft
Working in Manholes
Prep, tray, and splice fiber optic cable ranging from single fiber and Loose tube, Ribbon to 488 counts as well as perform ring cut when needed
