Experience: 1-2 years’ experience drilling in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities 1-2 years’ experience as a locater Knowledge of highway traffic control standards Knowledge of health and safety regulations, practices and procedures Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand blue prints Knowledge of utility depths and placement Knowledge of reading and interpreting AT&T and/or CATV design prints CDL preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Directional drill operation
Operate large trenchers (115) and plows
Directional drill operation on 15,000lb. machines and under, backhoe, trencher, and/or plow
Proficient in mud mixing, bore gel and locating
Operates mini excavator, skid steer, and drop trench machinery
Responsible for equipment maintenance per service requirements and safety guidelines
Organization of materials and other resources is necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools
Ensure Company assets are properly and continuously maintained in good repair and secured in a safe manner
Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns as well as answering questions
Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations
