Global Optics is the largest Cable Telecommunications Contractor in the State of Texas. We are in immediate need of Fiber Splicers at our Corporate Office in San Antonio.
Single mode fiber fusion splice - single drops. One splice is performed at both the curb and at the house box - terminating both ends of a drop that has already been run and buried prior to your arrival for splicing. Most preferred are techs with fusion / mechanical fiber splicing experience for providers such as AT&T, Google, Grande, GVTC or commercial / industrial fiber splicing experience.
Light levels at the home must be verified with a light meter. QC pictures must be taken and provided with the job completion.
All positions are 1099. You must provide your own truck, van or larger SUV.
This is a ground floor, great financial opportunity for the right individuals. The work is long term / full time. Compensation is based on your skills and production levels.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
Good criminal background: No felonies ever / no misdemeanors involving violence or theft.
Good driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
Proof of legal residence and ability to work in the U.S.
