Qualifications
Must possess technical knowledge of outside plant construction work methods, tools, procedures and maintenance operations. Must be able to work independently of direct supervision and be familiar with all cable placing operations for both fiber and copper.Must be able to provide hands on installation of copper and fiber optic cable in aerial environments. Must be able to read engineering drawings
Other Requirements
--bucket truck with fiber trailer
--Impact Tools, drills and bits.
--At least one large cable lasher.
--Chain hoists or jacks and fiber slings.
--Climbers, belts and lanyards.
--At least one chain saw.
--Complete set of hand tools.
--HOT GLOVES AND ALL SAFETY GEAR
Job Description
Two man line crews needed with bucket truck and fiber real. Must be qualified in all aspects of aerial construction.
