Qualifications
We need experienced Fiber To The Home install techs AND we need traditional triple play techs. If you are equipped to hang and splice fiber drops you will be given priority. Must be properly trained on safety standards for work around high voltage and low voltage plant and equipment. We also need triple play techs. Even if you are not able to climb extension ladder you can do triple play installs in some of these systems.
Other Requirements
Some systems require laptop with air card or hot spot via your cell phone. Must have proper training (we'll bring you up to speed on system requirements)and be properly equipped to perform the type of work you want to do. If you want to do drop work you'll need truck or van with proper ladder rack, 28 ft commercial fiberglass extension ladder, and if you have splicing equipment you can hang fiber drops. Those who do NOT have splicing equipment can hang coax drops and do triple play installations
Job Description
Full time, part time and "on call" work avaiable in multiple markets in Indiana. We are in our 7th year contracting with Cinergy MetroNet--a Fiber To The Home MSO.
We also have work available in the Southern Indiana Time Warner Systems (formerly Insight Communications)
The Time Warner work is traditional full time route work in Southern IN and Louisville. Must have properly equipped truck or van with proper ladder rack,ladders, power and hand tools,safety equipment, cell phone, computer with air card (if your cell is not a hot spot)etc
There are several options for the Cinergy MetroNet work.
1. Techs trained and equipped to hang and splice fiber drops to ONT's
2. Techs trained and equipped to do triple play installations--don't necessarily have to have ext ladder or climb on these jobs--drops are done separately but if you can do BOTH it's a huge PLUS!
3. Full time, part time or "on call" is fine as long as you let us know up front and you are very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. If you are only available weekends or specific days we will do our best to accomodate you!!!
