Qualifications
MUST speak Spanish in order to communicate with crew. Must be well versed in all aspects of running a HDD crew including, project management, white lining, preconstruction meetings, redlines, open trenching, drilling, vault/manhole placement, safety procedures, traffic control, equipment maintenance, employee management, etc.
Job Description
Must be able to be handed a HDD permit and complete it A-Z. We work for multiple clients installing conduit via HDD or open trench and we also complete our asphalt / concrete restoration. Must be able to comfortably run 2-3 crews at one time and stay in communication with upper management. Spanish speaking is a MUST, since most of the crew members only speak Spanish. Pay is negotiable, and bonuses for production are in place. Our work is in city environments with most running lines in the shoulder. 95% hardscape with asphalt needing to be broken out for each pothole and borepit. This is NOT typical of your wild west boring in Texas dirt. Must be able to abide by work hours, city restrictions, water management, and work closely with city inspectors. The right candidate will have opportunity for growth within the company as we expand to other systems.
