Qualifications
Minimum 3 to 5 years in coax/fiber construction management. Preferred is a candidate that has worked from the ground up and can provide leadership and direction to all areas of the operation.
Job Description
The Construction Coordinator position will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and direction for all aspects of issued projects. Experience in managing in-house and subcontract personnel is required. Quality assurance and safety are overriding goals along with the imperative demand to satisfy customer needs.
Construction Coordinator's responsibilities may include the following areas:
Design - Understanding of Coax and Fiber Architecture and Maps
Make Ready Engineering and Construction
Plat Maps - ROWs and Easements
Construction Site Surveys
Knowledge of Aerial/UG Construction Processes
Understanding of Fiber Optic and Coax Splicing
Fiber - ORDR Measurements and Splice Docs
Knowledge of PON, FTTH, DWDM, CWDM
Commercial Installation Processes
Quality Assurance
Permitting - ROW, Traffic
Safety
Damage Mitigation
Microsoft Office/365 Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong Communications Skills
Invoicing and As-builts
Project Tracking and Reporting
Clean MVR
