Job Description
1, Ability to be punctual, dependable, organized and manage time wisely
2 Ability to follow all safety protocols according to Swyft company policy
3 Ability to work outside in the elements and in adverse weather conditions when required
4 Ability to climb ladders
5 General knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools
6 Ability to splice fiber optic plant and coax plant
7 Ability to perform coax and fiber installs if required
8 General computer knowledge such as connecting to internet, use of microsoft programs
9 Ability to work some weekends and overtime if required
10 Ability to perform plant construction, fiber and coax
11 Ability to perform pole transfers
12 Knowledge of proper power clearances on mainline
13 Ability to correct snr plant issues
14 Ability to sweep and balance and document
15 Ability to read plant prints and perform design for plant extensions and new builds
16 Ability to train less experienced staff
17 Ability to correct mer/ber plant issues
18 Bucket truck certified or ability to obtain certification and dot medical card
19 Ability to operate and properly maintain a company vehicle
20 Ability to use test equipment profeciently(volt meter, signal meter, otdr, tdr, locator, spectrum analyzer)
